ATA Airlines has filed fo bankruptcy. The move left thousands of ATA Airlines passengers stranded as operations immediately ceased.
It’s the second time the airline has filed for bankrpucy in the past three years.
The apparent problem was that thney had a deal with FedEx to run their charter operations and in the renegotiation over the contract they couldn’t agree on how to allocate higher fuel costs.
