Really?
Transport for London says there has been a 72 per cent increase in
cycling in London since 2000 – that now means 450,000 journeys a year.
New figures out shortly are expected to put it even higher.
450,000 a year? What, in a city of 8 million as many as 1,232 people a day are using their bicycles? That is impressive, don’t you think?
