So I am asked (presumably on behalf of a service called Getyoursearchon), how often I search and which engine I use.

At a guess I search 30 – 50 times a day and almost always use Google, either the main search engine or the Blogsearch one. I’ve been known to use the Amazon engine (not A9) on their site to look for books and of course, when looking for blog posts on a subject also use Technorati in addition to Google Blogsearch.

Other than that it’s the newspaper search engines mostly, trying to track down half remembered articles.
