Churchill on Terrorism.

Piece in The Times today wondering what Churchill’s attitude to terrorism would be.

It is reasonable to ask what Churchill, a man so
acutely aware of his own historical legacy, might have made of the
worst terrorist attack on British soil.

What makes it slightly odd is that it doesn’t mention that we already know what Churchill did about terrorism, for we have the example of the Sidney Street Seige.

In essence, his reaction was surrender so we can hang you or burn to death.

Abdel, do try the advanced Google thingy. You will find that he is traduced. He wrote memos recommending use of the gas that we now call tear gas, not the stuff that we now call poison gas. I can think of someone who did actually use poison gas in Iraq, though. Bet you can too.
