This blog’s brother is now out there as part of the support set up, cooking up a storm for the troops. Anybody out there (no, not the sandbox, the other one) looking for an extra slice of pie can drop the name of this blog, that should work. Apparently he cooked breakfast for the Prime Minister of Iceland yesterday which is a definite step up in social status from the football fans about to descend on us here in Portugal.
Now that the family has a representative back in the area (Grandfather flew in Iraq for the RAF before WWII and also, I think, over Waziristan. After Partition he set up the Pakistani Air Force Engineering Academy as well.) it sounds like a good time to help raise money for the Spirit of America organisation and some of the other similar things. So we’ve set up three little receiving centres, one in the US, one in the UK and one here in Portugal. Send us your old used up ink jet cartridges and we’ll sell them, sending the money onto the charities. I’ll have the full details on another blog later today.
Update. Full information is here.
