Jaycee Lee Dugard, or at least a woman claiming to be Jaycee Lee Dugard has just turned up at a Bay Area police station.

This might be thought not unusual, but the point is that Jaycee Lee Dugard was kidnapped from her South Lake Tahow home 18 years ago, all the way back in 1991.

Who kidnapped her? Who has now let her go? Why now? Where has she been all this time?

The police, the FBI and her family are all taking it seriously that she may indeed be Jaycee Lee Dugard and there's a press conference scheduled for later this morning.

For example, her family have spoken to her and they seem convinced.
