This is something that a rather large number of us are going to have to learn in the near future, how to get out of debt. But what actually is the best method of Debt Relief? These guys at Freedom seem to have a pretty good system.
There's really only a few ways you can reduce debt. The first and most obvious is simply to pay it off, but if it was that simple then none of us would have a problem, would we? It is worth noting though that whatever you can afford to pay off should be used to reduce the higher interest debt first. Pay off credit cards before student debt for example.
The second way is to try and extend the period of time which you have to pay. This will cost you more in the long run but will lower your monthly payments. A third is to to try and refinance, but this is something that might not be all that easy at the moment.
The fourth, and the one used by Freedom, is to try and renegotiate the actual amount of debt that you owe. Unfortunately, simply calling the credit card company and asking for a break doesn't get you very far. But a professional negotiating on your behalf can indeed sometimes manage reduce the amount you have to pay back.
And that's the Debt Relief service that Freedom offers. Consulting them is free to start with, so why not check out what they can offer?
