Asha Mandela is hoping to set a world record. 

What for I hear you cry!  Well, Asha is hoping to be the first receiptant of the World’s Longest Dreadlocks record.

Asha, who is forty-six has been growing her hair for twenty years.  It now measures eight feet, nine inches long and she has submitted it to the Gunniess Book of Records.

Apparently it takes a bottle of shampoo and a bottle of conditioner to wash her hair and it can takes days to fully dry.

One question, where does she put it all when she wants to leave the house?  She must also stand a chance in the World’s Largest Bun record!
