Cher is reportedly in talks to play Catwoman in the next Batman film.

Christopher Nolan who will be directing for the third time is said to want Cher for the role.  A studio executive said, "Cher is Nolan’s first choice to play Catwoman. He wants her to portray her like a vamp in her twilight years."  Well at sixty-two years of age Cher can certainly fulfill that wish. Not sure she would give Christian Bale a run for his money in the fighting scenes.

Filming for the new movie, provisionally entitled The Caped Crusader is due to kick-off in Vancouver early in 2009.
