Kiera Knightely, has no problem performing sex scenes written by her mother. Her mother, Sharman Macdonald, scripted the film The Edge of Love, and Kiera takes a humorous stance on the subject.

"She dared to put a sex scene in it. It didn’t worry me that my mother knows what sex is,” the star quips. “I had no hissy fits when she presented me with the scene."

So when Macdonald, who also produces the film, presented a script which called for her daughter to act in the buff and have a steamy roll in the hay, Knightley was unfazed.

She jokes: “I was found under an apple tree. My mother is a virgin.”
