That’s right the UK Tv schedule will meltdown as the BBC does what it can to cram in as much tennis as possible. If you don’t like tennis – tough! The BBC doesn’t care.

For once there is good weather, but clouds have been building due to claims about match fixing, betting and the involvement of the Russian Mafia. The tennis authorities are keen to stamp this out, the problem is money, with so much being bet on competitions such as Wimbledon it makes it financially viable.

Away from the trouble of organised crime, expect Wimbledon to be its usual self, speculation about the future, the Brits doing badly and good looking women in shorts and short skirts.
