Billie Piper seems to have sent the US critics to sleep, in the main, as Belle De Jour in The Secret Diary Of A Callgirl. As I’ve said previously, it did nothing for me as I’d already been reading the blog which I thought was far better. You do have to give Showtime credit for trying to provide entertainment from other countries, unfortunately British Tv is pretty dire at the moment across the board.
