California’s Potential Gay Marriages Causing Trouble

Ten Attorney Generals from Republican states are asking California’s Supreme Court to delay a ruling on same sex marriages. They are worried that a ruling by the court making same sex marriages legal could lead to legal issues in their own states. 

I’m not sure why they expect the court to delay a ruling for millions of Californians to make their ten lives easier, but it seems pretty cheeky to me.
