No, not as Frankie Howerd had it, on the way to the forum, but actually at the wedding. I was indeed a mere teenage boy, proudly showing off to my first possible (no, this hadn’t actually been confirmed at this point) girlfriend and we happened to be at a wedding. Long story about that happened. Anyway, so there we are, snagging booze along the way (we were, umm, 15 at the time) and she decides that I should meet her parents. Excellent. So, she says "I’m going to introduce you to my parents" and off we weave through the crowd. She says hello to some adults so I, good, polite, well trained little lad that I am march up, stick my hand out and introduce myself.
The adults look a little surprised but say hello….at which point not quite and never to be girlfriend hisses that those aren’t in fact her parents.
Ho hum.
All of this was brought back to me while I was running through this Wedding Invitations site.I’ve never quite taken to weddings since really.
Now as to why I was looking for wedding invitations that’s another matter, but they do have something pretty cool on the site.
Now that invitation looks OK, but you can’t really see the quality of the printing. So if you go here, you can see that they’ve got a great little tool to allow you to zoom in and see things more clearly. Just roll your mouse over the image.
With that sort of attnetion to detail on the site, I’d imagine their attention to detail on the printing will be high too.
