Yes, we appear to have the impossible: a pregnant man.

No, this isn’t a rerun of an Arnie movie. We really do have someone who is legally male who is pregnant.

However, it’s important to note that "legally" male part.

What actually happened is that Thomas Beatie was indeed a woman who then changed her sex. But, unlike most who do so, the sex change was just breast reduction and testosterone injections. The womb, ovaries and so on stayed. So, come off the injections and pregnancy can indeed happen.

And that’s how we get our pregnant "man".
