Long term readers will know that we’re working on getting the new (to us) house sorted out. The builders have just finished the new kitchen so that side of the house is completed. It’s also the right time of year to be getting the garden sorted, so that’s exactly what we’ve been doing.
The thing is though, we want to add some plants that usually require planters. Things like mint are extremely easy to grow, they give a great odour to a garden and, of course, they are yummy to eat. But if you don’t restrict their growth by putting them into a planter then they’ll go on to take over the entire garden.
Fortunately I’ve found a site for the wife to pour over. Decorative planters, outdoor planters, high end planters, they’re all there. Now all I have to do is remind here that there’s a limited amount of actual square footage in this garden and that she doesn’t in fact need to buy the entire stock.
