Pay-Ads.com

Pay-Ads.com is not something you want to add to your website. It all looks good enough, they promise $3.5 CPM ad rates for putting a banner ad into your site.

Pay-Ads.com also promise to pay you promptly: they even do pay you promptly.

However, the one thing that Pay-Ads.com don’t in fact tell you is that they are going to be broadcasting malware through their banner ads. Which makes them scummy, thieving bastards of course.

And the malware from Pay-Ads.com is so bad that within a day or two of adding their ads they will in fact get you banned from Google. My page views, when I made the extremely stupid decision to add Pay-Ads.com, went from 10,000 a day to 1,000 a day.

So, just a note to people out there. You do not want to add Pay-Ads.com to your site because they are scummy thieving bastards, OK?

I noticed the otherday that Google was flagging up Mr Worstall’s tabloid edition as having the potential of harming your computer – I meant to rdrop him a line about it but forgot – sorry! Here’s the explanation: Tim Worstall…

  2. For the benefit of those of us that might have acquired something other than a bit more cynicism, what could we have caught, please?
Tim adds: Apologies, I don’t know.

  3. And when you removed the offending avderts did google un-blacklist you?

  4. thanks for this info. no wonder my traffic and adsense decrease. i know pay-ads from ebook “4 black hat method” which i buy for $15 from dp guy.

  6. This is an excellent post, ‘scummy thieving bastards’. There’s been more than a few instances of people getting banned by Adsense across at DigitalPoint for showing pay-ads.com’s adverts on their sites. Dirty bastards, I say.

  7. Thanks for the heads up. I stopped using it long time ago, even though I was earning pretty well…
