You can get prescription glasses for $8 a pair now?

Good grief, that’s an amazing price. I realise that I’m a little out in the sticks here but the local store recently tried to charge me $600 for a pair.

Go here Great Discovery: www.ZenniOptical.com and have a look at their options. As far as I can see it’s straight up, $8 plus shipping for a pair of prescription glasses. You can add polaroid, there’s a large selection for frames (of course, some are more expensive), tints, bifocals, all the regular things are there.

But good grief. $8 for a pair of prescription glasses?  I really am going to have to go and get some. Seriously? Less than a packet of cigarettes?
