Rudy Hermann Guede has been named as the fourth suspect in the Meredith Kercher murder case:

A drug dealer who boasted on the internet of being a “vampire who sucks blood”
was named last night as the fourth suspect being hunted in connection with
the murder of the British student Meredith Kercher.

Rudy Hermann Guede, 20, who has joint Italian and Ivory Coast nationality, is
being sought by Italian police on suspicion of sexually assaulting Ms
Kercher. His DNA is reported to have been found on her body.

Mr Guede was often seen at the whitewashed cottage where Ms Kercher lived with
her American housemate, Amanda Knox, who is also a suspect. His fingerprints
have been found on Ms Kercher’s bloodsoaked pillow and in the bathroom.
Faeces recovered from the cottage lavatory also match his DNA.

Update. It appears that Rudy has been arrested. He was found in Germany. My assumption is that he’ll be returned to Italy for investigation and trial. We now have fast track extradition between European countries, so there won’t be any problems with getting him back there.
