Anonymous Surfing

I’m really not sure that I know what this is but I’m also reasonably certain that given the way our Lords and Masters are looking at the web I want to find out more. Anonymous Surfing. Quite what all these words like Personal VPN and Anonymous VPN mean I’m certain I don’t know and I’m not sure I would get them if someone tried to explain them.

But I assume they’re all to do with the idea that people can’t track whatever pages I’ve been looking at somehow. Not that I think there’s a problem with that at present, but you never know when my more paranoid fantasies of State regulation are actually going to come true. So perhaps I should indeed learn more?

  1. Hmmm, I’m not sure I’d trust a company to do highly sensitive stuff if they can’t build a decent website…

  2. What Gary said. That site is awful-poor usability, poor SEO, images where they should be using text, badly explained, stc.
Tim, these advert posts of yours do amuse, you even manage to make it sound worth clicking on. Let them know that if they want an SEO/usability workover, my rates are reasonable…
Tim adds: As they’ll almost certainly be checking the post they might just be in contact…..
