The most basic thing that has been learnt about computers: garbage in, garbage out.

Civil liberties campaigners and MPs have raised doubts about the
national DNA database after the Home Office confirmed it contained more
than 500,000 false or wrongly recorded names.

Not wholly sure that there’s any way to clean something like that up, once it’s been corrupted so. Hey ho, I arrest you, Mr. Mickey Mus, on the grounds of being irritiating in charge of a steamboat.

  1. As I put in my own piece on this:
    Our DNA is part of us as individuals. Holding samples of it is false imprisonment. It should be subject to habeas corpus. There can be no truck with this illiberal nonsense.
