Gentlemen…

A cross-party group of MPs is calling on Gordon Brown to renegotiate
urgently the wording of the new European Union treaty because they say
it risks relegating national parliaments to mere satellites of Brussels.

  1. “risks relegating national parliaments to mere satellites ” , well yes of course – that is the whole point of a political project to unite the West … perhaps these people are on the wrong side and they in fact do not wish the West to unite but prefer nation to compete with nation – more European war anyone?
    Hail the project.

  2. Now, I’m all in favour of the EU when it’s a federation which has free movement of people, goods, and capital, and is democratically controlled by the people of Europe, under a constitution providing for limited powers.
Shame it’s all going the other way.
