The Dangers of Cannabis

Clearly I’ll have to change my view on the matter. It would appear that just a few tokes on a joint can indeed turn you into a talentless drone with no moral values whatsoever.

Jacqui Smith, Charles Clarke, Alistair Darling, Andy Burnham, Ruth Kelly, John Hutton, Hazel Blears, Yvette Cooper, Tony McNulty,  Vernon Coaker, Francis Maude, David Willetts, Oliver Letwin.

A fairly strong set of evidence there, don’t you think?

Just think, if it weren’t for the appalling effects of reefer upon young and impressionable minds, all of these people (well, nearly all of them) could have gone on to lead productive and useful lives, but now just look at them!

    Possibly. Possibly.
“Use of street drugs (including LSD, methamphetamine, marijuana-hash-cannabis) have been linked with significantly increased probability of developing schizophrenia. This link has been documented in over 30 different scientific studies (studies done mostly in the UK, Australia and Sweden) over the past 20 years.”

As for the symptoms of schizophrenia:
“The array of symptoms, while wide ranging, frequently includes psychotic manifestations, such as hearing internal voices or experiencing other sensations not connected to an obvious source (hallucinations) and assigning unusual significance or meaning to normal events or holding fixed false personal beliefs (delusions). No single symptom is definitive for diagnosis; rather, the diagnosis encompasses a pattern of signs and symptoms, in conjunction with impaired occupational or social functioning.”

Bill Clinton admitted having a sexual relationship with Monica. But he insisted that he hadn’t inhaled.

  3. Bearing in mind that smoking grass makes people interminably boring, whilst believing themselves to be full of witty repartee, there is a very good connection between politicians and weed.

  4. “Jacqui Smith, Charles Clarke, Alistair Darling, Andy Burnham, Ruth Kelly, John Hutton, Hazel Blears, Yvette Cooper, Tony McNulty, Vernon Coaker, Francis Maude, David Willetts, Oliver Letwin” …. not one person there I would want to go for a beer with, though I suppose I could get it up for Yvette Cooper if she asked me nicely.
Off blog – nice to see Britney in her knickers today … geddit?
