It’s international. There’s a similar article in this month’s edition of the Ozzie magazine Quadrant “The Decline and Fall of the West” by Mike Alder, who teaches maths at the Uni of Western Australia. (Sorry, I don’t know of an online source.)

On “Today” this morning, the similar dumbing down of history was defended by one Peter Hyman (an ex-Blairite adviser who now claims to teach history at an Islington comprehensive) who “did not recognise” the criticisms of the national educational syllabuses by Civitas.
