I asked a few days ago what this Facebook thing was good for. I appear to have found one answer at least.
Opinions will vary as to whether this actually makes Facebook useful or not.

Okay, this obsession has moved from amusing to creepy. Start taking down the clips with my name in the from the basement room with the single, dangling lightbulb, leave the house, maybe get out some, meet some women, be normal.

Actually, I have managed to get in contact with an old schoolfriend of mine, who I’d not heard from in years of trying, through his Facebook entry.
Turns out he’s a mercenary in Iraq.
