Ah, one of my pet peeves. I got a letter from the Yorkshire Police yesterday boasting about how their work with ‘local business’s and other agency’s’ was helping drive down street crime in central York. I can understand a certain level of illiteracy from those who can only find employment as community patrol officers, but one would expect more from the Times.
