Malign Creeps

Is apparently what we bloggers are: Take it away the Yazzmonster:

"Citizen journalists" is the respectable name given to the malign
creeps who now pull and push the news and current affairs agenda.

I think she’s right you know. Malign creep is the only possible way to describe this learned gentleman. Here and here. Showing that, breaking the news that, a government computer system was so incompetently put together that it was broadcasting the private details of applicant doctors to all and sundry.

I mean, really, what would happen if people just took it upon themselves to do things like that. Whence the salaried commentariat if such things persist?

Malign creeps we are. Obviously.

    She seems to think that the dizzining rate of change and access to new technologies is changing the definition of what it is to be human – and that this is bad. Except we’ve truly never nailed down that definition in the first place.
    Other than that her main complaint is that people post utter garbage on the web – stuff “profesional” journalist wouldn’t be able to get away with.
    1. Most of the stuff on the web is peoples lives and to say they shouldn’t put it there is like saying that the hoi polloi should have the good grace not to interfere with their betters enjoyment of things.
    2. A lot of the good stuff comes from people who don’t let worries about “access” stop them from covering a story that the MSM won’t touch.
    3. As we’ve seen, the MSM puts out a lot of tripe that is poorly edited and fact-checked also.

    ‘Malign creep’ sounds like a pretty good way of describing a person who could have ended up in one of Idi Amin’s mass graves shitting on the people who gave her shelter.

    Yasmin really is running scared that she will be revealled to be a mediocre busted flush.
    Like all Sociofascists it is not the establishment or inherited priviledge per se that they hate, but that it is not controlled or possessed by them.
