Tessa Jowell Speaks!

From the woman who retired from her family to spend more time with her job:

Tessa Jowell has vowed not to repeat the mistakes of the Millennium Dome in staging the 2012 London Olympics.

I rather think you’ve already made the same mistakes.

Defending the escalating costs of the project, Miss Jowell said she was
confident that the final price tag would not rise beyond the £9.3
billion announced last week.

The Government’s original £2.375 billion estimate was merely a "funding pitch" she said.

Just a funding pitch? A bare faced lie you mean?

  1. I spotted the same thing. It seems that now you can explain away a lie by saying, “But I was lying – don’t you see?”

Why is it that neither Mitt Romney nor Peter Uberoth were consulted for these Olympics? Isn’t one of the keys to success to at least study how those who succeeded before you did it?
