Err, isn’t this illegal? Even if it is an economics professor doing it in the name of research?

I think the latest attempt by the US Government has made it illegal to run and/or fund gambling sites- as in the entities doing so. Being an individual gambler does not specifically make you a criminal in the eyes of the Feds. I believe Washington and some other states have state laws that criminalize individual participation.
Idiots. All of them. Poker is not a crime.
