Perhaps – although absolutely no word that issues from either the mouth or pen of David Frum, a snotty wee bastard who used the invasion of Iraq to effected the mother of all smear jobs against his ideological opponents, should ever be trusted again.

Indeed. The fact his article is mostly based on Mr Joyal makes it more than slightly partisan. Mr Frum has never been a delight at any point. However everything I’ve looked into on Russia has agreed with the spirit of Frum’s message, if not the content.
