The real bill for the 2012 London Olympics may not be known for years, government sources admitted last night.

security costs — above and beyond the £190 million set aside — meant
that the full cost of the games would probably not be arrived at until
much closer to 2012.

I really dislike sporty people pushing their horrible pastimes on to the general public. For example, once a year the roads of Bath are sealed off so a bunch of sick looking people can run on the roads until they are struck down by dehydration. Why must I endure this crap?
