I wonder, just what is a T-shit?

As to the substance of the piece Sasha Simic doesn’t have a clue what he’s talking about:

While waiting for the demo I got talking to a local. A peasant from the
eastern province, the land he worked was bought up by a conglomerate
with the help of corrupt MP’s and shortly afterwards all the peasants
that worked the land were cleared off it. He came to Nairobi to find
work and ended up in Kibera. It’s a story as old as capitalism.

Capitalism rests on a secure set of property rights. Without those it doesn’t work. What you’ve got there is an absence of property rights so whatever is going on there it ain’t capitalism.

    Capitalism depends on a system of secure property rights for capitalists. Peasants? Not so much.

    Marcin, peasants are capitalist too.
    Your statement should have read:
    “Capitalism depends on a system of secure property rights for everyone. Socialism? Not so much.”

    It may well be that there were secure property rights they were just in the hands of landlords not peasants. This isthe history of the enclosure & of the Highland Clearances & it is capitalism.
    Don’t get to the point so many socialists do who say socialism has never produed disasters because all the disasters weren’t really socialism.

    It’s pretty common for tenants not to have secure property rights for the reason that it ain’t their property. They should be able to expect that their tenancy rights are enforced, though.
