Mel Gibson’s Apocalypto

Woffle has found a review of Mel Gibson’s Apocalypto:

Advisory: This film contains nudity, decapitations, forced sex, throat
cuttings, arrows in the neck, arrows through the mouth and a scene in which a
jaguar bites into a man’s head. Sensitive viewers may find some of this
disturbing.

Sensitive? Some? Disturbing?

What’s the difference between “forced sex” and rape, d’you think? Perhaps the reviewer is a bit worried by the delicate-flower-readers getting distressed by the word.

  3. If there was more sex and less “throat cuttings” I might be tempted to go and see it! 🙂

Sex is always available in real life, but throat cuttings are best enjoyed vicariously via the medium of cinema, these days… 😉

  5. I will never watch anything by or with Mel Gibson every again. I do rather hope its a colossal flop (ala Waterworld) so the Jew-hating cretin will drink himself into oblivion.

  6. Thanks for that Timmy: no need for me to see the film now!
Which means I can instead go watch Casino Royale again.
