Ontario, and one of the authors of the report, said: “Income inequality
has been rising for the past 20 to 25 years and we think that is true
for inequality in the distribution of wealth.
If you look at the calculations by Paul Ormerod you’ll find that income inequality has been falling (globally, that is) in the past 20-25 years. When you ‘ve got a third of humanity in India and China, both growing like gangbusters and bringing hundreds of millions into the middle class, this pretty much has to be so.
