Yes, that’s the EU getting in the way of free trade again, because of course, without the EU, the government would be only too happy to forego the excise revenue on foreign sourced booze and fags.
BTW – I am being sarcastic in case any euronihilists thought that I meant it. -
So tax harmoonisation is OK with you is it? Personally, I would rather pay a bit more for my booze to escape the dead hand of euro taxation.
