I do wonder sometimes whether these people actually read their columns before they hand them in.

Effectively she is saying that only central planning can solve the crowding of the south and the relative sparesness of population growth in the north.

Then she goes on to lambaste the recent bout of central planning that involved building houses in the south and demolishing them in the north.

How can you call for more central planning at the same time as you note that central planning is a disaster?

  1. It’s like the Blessed Jamie Oliver. Brings down the Wrath of the People on the dire quality of school dinners. Then wants packed lunches banned.

  3. Ah but central planning done by me to support the things I want would be wonderful its just everybody else who gets it wrong.
