Domestic Life

The bloke in the apartment upstairs decided to come back from a nightclub and broadcast Simply Red at high volume at about 6.30 am this morning. How nice of him.

The music went off at about 7.30 am and presumably they all went to sleep.

7.35 am I let the dogs out to play on our terrace underneath the windows to his apartment.

Unlike my normal practice I didn’t try to prevent them from barking or whining or howling as they played.

How nice of me, no?

anyone who plays Simply Red at any time of the day should have dogs set on them

  2. Last night when I drove back from the pub at 12:30 the neighbours (a few hundred yards away) were just reving up a very noisy teenage party. I was told off for using the “c word” when I asked them to turn it down. Of course I had to start the tractor and the pigs squealed and the dogs barked when we went out early this morning…

  3. My neighbour had a noisy dog in the garden and a noisy record player. I told them, in front of their children, that unless all the noise stopped the I wouldn’t be at all surprised if their dog died while I was on holiday in France. Worked a treat.

  5. The wankers below me in Pimlico are quite keen on their crap dance music. If they play it to loud I place a bit of heavy metal in the CD player rather loud. It seems to work rather well.

  6. Does it work? My experience is that the selfish pricks start to think you’re playing a game of who can play the loudest.
