Yes, I know, I’m eight months late to this one but via Cafe Hayek this New York Times story on the background to this You Tube video.

Now, if we can just find a clip of that scene from Crossroads where Stevie Ray Vaughan and the other guy are playing Bach?

And via Allan in the comments the full version. And it’s not Bach. As far as I know it is Stevie Ray playing the kid’s part….there are certainly references around that say it’s Vai and Vaughan.

    It was Steve Vai playing Eugene’s Trick Bag which is based on Niccolo Paganini’s Caprice #5.
