Just noticed. Someone’s sending trackback spam. Advertising spam blocking software.
Is this extremely clever or extremely dumb?

Extremely typical. I’ve seen popup ads for popup blockers before.

It’s quite common. Fortunately my filters are (usually) good enough to block it.
Unfortunately, a lot of other people don’t stop it (or remove it), and so in remains worth their while.
