A perfectly reasonable request as well. If there are going to be book burnings could we make sure that they are fully paid for (with the author’s royalty included) and that they are of the correct titles?

I have always been rather disappointed, indeed, that my own book, Dead
Pets (Canongate, £9.99), has not attracted the attention of more
members of the book-burning community. It contains some hair-raising
blasphemies against the Prophet, and is highly disrespectful of both
the Pope and L.Ron Hubbard. Should anyone wish to organise a campaign against it, it’s
not too late, and I really would be most awfully grateful.
