Gay Foster Parents

This is going to cause the most almighty screaming match:

A council was condemned yesterday for failing to
prevent a paedophile homosexual couple from abusing young boys even
after being alerted by one of the victim’s parents.

Foster
parents Ian Wathey, 40, and Craig Faunch, 32, face long terms in jail
after being convicted of molesting and filming eight-year-old twins and
two boys aged 14.

The twins were video-taped as they showered together, while one of the older boys was sexually abused by Wathey in his bedroom.

The important thing is that these specific people who happened to be gay also happened to be paedophiles. Being one of the two does not make someone more or less likely to be the other of the two: we don’t, for example, say that someone who is a kiddie fiddler with the opposite sex is more likely to be gay now do we?

Note also the standard bureaucratic defense:

Kitty Ferris, for the council, said applications by
the men to become foster carers had been approved "in accordance with
statutory requirements and council policy".

She
added: "Although correct procedures were carried out at every stage the
service has reviewed its internal procedures to identify what lessons
should be learned."

We ticked all the right boxes so that’s all right then.

    Alas, Tim, it appears that about one third of peodophile assaults are same-sex assaults – a ratio much higher than that of homosexuals in the general population.
    The politically approved explanation is that the perpetrators aren’t actually homosexual – they’re some special category.

    Indeed. I am always surprised when people talk about things like Disclosure Scotland as if they were about protecting children, when it’s quite obvious that the primary result (if not the actual aim) is to protect the employerfrom charges of negligence.

    You know? It takes a special kind of genius to devise a system that on the one hand falsely brands innocent people as criminals, (“just to be on the safe side”, if you believe yesterday’s official excuse) and still manages to permit people against whom there are at least serious suspicions of paedophilia to work with kids.
    When will those in power realise that for most of its activities, the only real shape of “joined up government” that works is a zero?

    One day, society will recognize that male homosexuals are 90% plus pedophiles by nature. After all, the “natural” rate of male homosexuality in populations with a more or less even sex distribution is less than 1%.
    Thus, adult male gays have to “recruit” juvenile partners. As society accepts and celbrates homosexuality, more and more children will be recruited into the gay “lifestyle.” Most of them will be entering puberty, unable to cope with the flood of sex hormones in their bodies, and naturally confused about the meaning of their new urges and feelings. This confusion offers the perfect recruiting field for adult gays in a world that refuses to condemn sin.
