I suspect the typeface on the website does not have the necessary character…a hatkek, is it?. If it’s like that in the paper too, God help us…
It is the hat-check: “ˇ”. The typeface isn’t on the website; it’s on your computer. But that doesn’t make any difference, because they used an encoding that web browsers don’t understand: “\u” isn’t HTML.
Oh, you mean these screens aren’t like TV’s with which we gaze on the real world?
Our computers ‘construct’ reality for us?
