A slightly weird argument here. We agree that sponsored trust schools may indeed aid in raising standards. But those who sponsor them are too white, patriarchal and Christian. Sponsorship should come from a wider group.
Perhaps. But turn the argument around. We want more sponsorship from those who have not, as yet, succeeded in this society so as to show pupils how to succeed.

The man is professor of “applied research in education”. Those who can’t, teach, those who can’t teach, teach in teacher training colleges, and those aren’t up to that. . . work in applied research in education?
