More Danish Cartoons.

Laban was right in comments. You want to go and read this at Small Town Scribbles.

Also worth taking on board The Toffeewomble’s point. Why has no UK paper published the cartoons? Ever wondered how many muslim newsagents there are?

The Asian cornershop issue has never really been a concern of mine, but I must admit that there is one sociological phenomenon that has always puzzled me; to whit: Why do the newsagents with the largest and most varied selections of “Adult Orientated Periodicals” always close on Friday lunchtimes?
There’s probably a lucrative, eu sponsored, sociology research grant in that question.

Yeah – fifth column! This being open all hours thing – what a good wheeze to fool us all! Damn conspiracy!
Or… perhaps the Mail’s editorial line on the issue is just a matter of being consistent, given the paper’s intermittent whining over the past couple of years over (supposed) slights on Christianity?
Tim adds: The Toffeewomble’s point is rather that no UK paper would want to piss off such a large influence on thier business model.
