Climate Change and Frogs.

You’ll have seen those reports from Nature that climate change is wiping out frogs in Central America?

No, I don’t know who to believe in this particular debate but Patrick Michaels has something to say about it.

It isn’t beyond the bounds of possibility that climate change is indeed happening, that we humans are at the very least contributing to it (broadly my view) and also that certain pieces of scientific research are rather bigged up on the subject.

Michaels’analysis of the subject paper is dead-on. Nature, National Geographic, et al have become nothing more than PC mouthpieces for certain POV’s. And to further those, they will evidently publish any sort of tripe that contains the proper “policy statement”.
I realize that neither will care, but both of the above-mentioned rags have lost a long-time subscriber as of early 2005.

very reasonable outlook, tim…what the hell is wrong with you??
Tim adds: You don’t realise, all of my views and outlooks are very reasonable. You know, all politicians are scum, bureaucrats should be hung from the lamposts, State supplied services are crap and Tone is dismantling the essential liberties of a free society. All entirely reasonable.

  3. While I am hanging myself from a lamppost, what about those exploding frogs in Germany? Climate change doesn’t explain them. The public should be told!
