That is funny, although reading the article it looks like they mean wonders still existing in the modern world in a good state of preservation (whereas many of those in Philon of Byzantium’s list of wonders no longer exist).

They may mean those hippy fests that used to go on there. Those certainly were a wonder to behold.
Nice joke but a pedant interested in geology might opine that Stonehenge is almost unbelievably modern. Even the wonderful Malvern Hills are only about 600 million years old…..
