Yes, yes, I know, not the most stunning news for everyone. But David Friedman, son of you know who and father of Patri at Catallarchy is now running his own blog.

Why’s this such a big deal? His views are, to be sure, sometimes a touch extreme (he once described himself as a conservative anarchist).

Personally I like the sort of stuff that’s in that link above. He often throws out ideas for other people to play with.

But there’s something else as well. For years he’s been playing at sci.econ and sci.environment (ah, the lost years of Usenet!) and that’s where I remember him from.

Should be a good blog.
