In the email box this morning an invitation to purchase various Opinion Journal goodies.
Not Too Late to Order OpinionJournal Stuff for Christmas and Hanukah
Interesting that they segment their audience in that manner. Why not Kwanzaa as well?

Maybe because Christmas and Hanukah are genuine religious festivals observed by millions to celebrate significant events in the histories of their faiths. Kwanzaa, on the other hand, is a fake holiday created by a man of dubious mental stability. He used Swahili, an East African language, to “validate” a festival for African Americans who are mostly of West African descent. It is supposed to celebrate the “gathering of the harvest” which doesn’t actually happen for several months (late summer, not early).
Just a thought

I’m with RM. I lived 20 years in West Africa, and I never heard of Kwanzaa once.
