Happy Birthday the World Wide Web (Tomorrow)

Apparently tomorrow marks the fifteenth anniversary of the creation of the World Wide Web when that very first document went up on Tim Berners-Lee’s server.

To celebrate The Times got comments from all sorts of famous people. Cory Doctorow, Vince Cerf, a Microsoft VP, Oracle MD and, umm, me.

Not hard to spot the odd one out really is it?

One response

  1. The odd one out? Oracle, you mean? Sure, their products are universally loathed by users, but they do at least make a lot of money.
By the way, Cerf is “Vint”, not “Vince”.
