A rather surprising story out today. You may or may not recall that there was a huge rumpus about GM corn in Mexico cross-breeding with the native varieties. This was of course something of a blow for GM enthusiasts (like myself) as if the new varieties do cross-breed then it would be almost impossible to actually use them in the big world out there.
Turns out it isn’t true.
Hhhm. No word yet on precisely how the original paper cocked it up but no doubt that will come out in due course.
